Privacy
This site collects very little. Here's what it collects, why, and who else is involved.

Who runs this site
AutoTasks is run by Josh Roybal as a sole proprietor. If you have a question about this notice or your information, email josh@autotasks.co.
What's collected
- When you send the contact form: your name, email address, what your business does, and what keeps taking your time. Also anything optional you add: your website, which situation sounds most like you, and the tools you use.
- How you found the site: the campaign tag on the link you clicked, the site that sent you here, and the first page you visited. This is kept in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie, and is sent to me only if you submit the form.
- If you email me: whatever you include in your email.
What isn't collected
The site doesn't use analytics, advertising pixels or cookies. Please don't send passwords, customer records or confidential business information through the form; we can talk about what a project needs before you share anything sensitive.
How it's used
Your details are used to reply to your inquiry, talk it through, and prepare a quote if you ask for one. They aren't used for marketing, and they aren't sold or shared for advertising.
Who else handles it
- Web3Forms delivers form submissions to my inbox.
- Google Workspace (Gmail) stores the messages in my email account.
- Cloudflare hosts the site and processes basic request information, such as your IP address, to serve pages and keep the site secure.
- Google Fonts supplies the site's fonts, so Google receives your IP address when a page loads.
- Calendly handles bookings, only if you choose to book a call, under Calendly's own privacy policy.
How long it's kept
Your messages are kept while we're talking or working together. They're deleted when you ask, or when they're no longer needed.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information you've sent by emailing josh@autotasks.co. You can remove the first-visit note at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.
Changes
